He likes his martinis shaken, and the places James Bond visits are stirring.

Since 1962, the year Ian Fleming's super spy 007 first hit the big screen in ``Dr. No,'' Bond has been all around the world. Granted, he may not be Phineas Fogg, who made it in 80 days. But in 35 years, Bond has been a travel guide of sorts.

The beauty of it all is that anyone can make the same trips and see many of the same sights. For those with vacation time upcoming but no destination ideas, the Bond movies certainly yield choices.

Watch any of the first 17 movies and you will see breathtaking shots of rolling greens, snow-covered mountains and crystal-blue water, along with the other Bond staples -- beautiful women, explosions and amazing gadgets.

With No. 18, ``Tomorrow Never Dies,'' which opened in December, more of the same can be viewed. His adventures keep him near home in Portsmouth and Oxford, along with trips to Bangkok, Thailand, and Hamburg, Germany.

Trips abroad are the norm, and that is apparent within the first 10 minutes of ``Dr. No'' -- a view …
