State Police investigators working with more than a half-dozen dogs Monday combed a Rockland County intersection for the remains of yet another alleged victim of Joel Rifkin, the man who police said has confessed to killing 17 women in the last three years.

Investigator Dwayne D. Russell, a spokesman for State Police Troop L, based in East Farmingdale, Suffolk County, said a team of 50 investigators worked through the weekend to locate and identify the women Rifkin has confessed to killing.
