Vic: Beckham's Aussie lover set out to destroy marriage - report

Friends of Aussie model SARAH MARBECK reportedly say she was obsessed with DAVID BECKHAM
and set out to destroy his marriage for money.

A report in the Herald Sun today claims that, according to a friend, the Melbourne-based
woman has not been able to stop thinking about BECKHAM since a chance encounter in 2001.

Friends allege Ms MARBECK was actually in Melbourne receiving social security benefits
at the time she insists BECKHAM and herself were texting each other.

Her friends say she is doing it for the money and that her behaviour has become increasingly
erratic.

The allegations coincided with a public plea by her family for the model to contact them.

She has not been seen since her claims in the News of the World that she had been having
a two-year relationship with BECKHAM were published.

The newspaper says she was working as a shop assistant in Brunswick Street up until
three weeks ago.
