VIC:Victorian ticketing proposal to save $100m

MELBOURNE, Feb 22 AAP - A solution to Victoria's multi-billion dollar public transport
ticketing debacle is being offered by the company that manages the state's existing system.

Vix Technology, the operator of the state's Metcard ticketing system for the past 13
years, says it can provide a better alternative to the troubled myki smartcard system
at a saving of at least $100 million.
